About The Position
Ron Hoover RV & Marine Centers is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented PDI Service Technician in Texarkana, TX to join our service team. This role involves performing pre-delivery inspections on RVs, testing and inspecting all systems, completing necessary repairs, and ensuring units are customer-ready. The ideal candidate enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, and helping customers start their adventures with confidence.
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills required
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- RV, marine, or related service experience preferred
- Valid driver's license preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on RVs prior to customer delivery
- Test and inspect all systems, including electrical, plumbing, propane, appliances, and accessories
- Complete repairs and adjustments as needed to ensure units are customer-ready
- Document inspection findings and completed work accurately
- Work closely with the service and sales departments to meet delivery schedules
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
