This full-time position, offering 36 hours per week with full benefits and a day shift schedule, includes opportunities for overtime and covering various shifts. Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, and have working knowledge of medical terminology.
Completion of formal training program for Certified Nursing Assistants.
Possesses state CNA Certification.
C.N.A. license in the state of Florida (required as of 8/1/2013).
Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
Possesses good communication skills in order to relate to customers.
Must be able to perform EKG’s.
Computer skills, order entry and ADT function.

Responsibilities

Performs various customer care activities and related services in the patient care area.
Monitoring and interpreting cardiac telemetry rhythm strips.
Performing receptionist and secretarial duties.
Performing patient care tasks.
Willingness to cross train and float to meet the needs of the facility.
