About The Position

This full-time position, offering 36 hours per week with full benefits and a day shift schedule, includes opportunities for overtime and covering various shifts. Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, and have working knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Completion of formal training program for Certified Nursing Assistants.
  • Possesses state CNA Certification.
  • C.N.A. license in the state of Florida (required as of 8/1/2013).
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • Possesses good communication skills in order to relate to customers.
  • Must be able to perform EKG’s.
  • Computer skills, order entry and ADT function.

Responsibilities

  • Performs various customer care activities and related services in the patient care area.
  • Monitoring and interpreting cardiac telemetry rhythm strips.
  • Performing receptionist and secretarial duties.
  • Performing patient care tasks.
  • Willingness to cross train and float to meet the needs of the facility.
