About The Position

As the Baseline Lead for the Payload Control System, you will oversee the design, development, and deployment of the system, ensuring it is properly built, tested, integrated, and verified through all production phases and that all deliverables meet quality, cost, and schedule commitments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Success leading the systems development life cycle with strong proficiency with requirements management and system modeling tools.
  • Creative thinker motivated to apply technical standards and methodologies to develop solutions.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Strong presentation and communications skills with experience in the art of negotiation.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong background in the Undersea domain.
  • Architectural design of core infrastructure and distributed network.
  • Understanding of power and cooling distribution for systems.
