Working under general supervision, incumbents facilitate the operation of a major project or program through administrative coordinating activities. Incumbents understand policy and procedures to determine appropriate action, reporting complex situations which fall outside the administrative scope to the appropriate supervisor for decision. Requires analytical and problem solving skills, independent judgment, collaboration and initiative to accomplish goals. May include supervisory responsibilities. The ideal applicant will have strong organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written). The ideal applicant will also have excellent typing skills and friendly telephone etiquette. The Special Program Coordinator – PCOS serves as the primary contact for patients seeking information or enrollment into the PCOS center (includes patients across OBGYN, Family and Preventative Medicine, and Internal Medicine departments). This role requires clear and effective communication with both patients and providers to maintain continuity of care and ensure the program’s success.
