About The Position
The PCH Referral Coordinator - Medical is responsible for coordinating referral requests and communication of appointments. This role involves organizing requests from multiple locations, obtaining pre-authorizations, and communicating the status of appointments. The position initially trains onsite but transitions to a fully work-from-home arrangement after a 90-day orientation period. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with an 8-hour shift between 9:00 am and 5:30 pm.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one year of medical office experience.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates referral requests and communication of appointments.
- Organizes requests from multiple locations.
- Obtains pre-authorizations.
- Communicates the status of appointments.
