About The Position

We're seeking a PCC - Complex Scheduler who will work collaboratively with staff and patients to schedule complex appointments. This individual will perform advanced and time-intensive scheduling tasks to support complex surgeries and/or imaging and procedures outside of current clinic such as hospital or OP radiology center. Coordination of complex, sequential treatment appointments including clinical trials and standard of care patients, and coordination of transplant related work up and evaluations for donors and patients. Serves as the primary point of care for these patients and their families. Additional duties may include registering or scheduling new patients and return visits, and scheduling ancillary appointments and imaging and procedures within their local clinic.

Requirements

6 months of healthcare scheduling experience is required.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Problem-solving ability
Ability to provide a high level of customer service
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work in a team environment
Time management skills
Empathy for others

Responsibilities

Coordination of pre-operation and post-operation testing/clearance
Coordination of complex, sequential treatment appointments including clinical trials and standard of care patients
Coordination of transplant related work up and evaluations for donors and patients
Serves as the primary point of care for these patients and their families.
Registering or scheduling new patients and return visits
Scheduling ancillary appointments and imaging and procedures within their local clinic
