About The Position

Image Tek MFG Inc. is growing and expanding our manufacturing operations in North Springfield, Vermont. Since 1994 Image Tek has been a trusted contract manufacturer partner for leading companies across diverse industries, providing services to local and global industries. Located in the heart of the Precision Valley, ImageTek's state of the art, ISO certified facility is looking for PCB (Printed Circuit Board) Technicians/Operators. This role involves building electromechanical assemblies including automated electronic component placement, wiring and soldering of printed circuits, and testing assemblies with programmed test fixtures and operating automated assembly equipment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent recommended.
  • Familiarity with electromechanical assembly recommended.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision after training.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating instructions, rulers, assembly prints, and job orders.
  • Available for overtime as required.
  • Must perform all essential job functions and meet physical demand requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble printed circuit boards and/or Wire Harness assemblies, including through-hole soldering methods according to customer specifications.
  • Perform various mechanical and electronic assembly operations according to the customer and/or part manufacturer specifications.
  • Operate various automated and, hand and/or power tools to aid in the assembly process.
  • Follow all company policies and adheres to ISO 9001:2015 procedures.
  • Meet minimal physical/mental demands.
  • Maintain a safe, clean working environment.
  • Maintain good attendance, flexible job assignment, adaptable to changing business needs, and continually learn and apply new skills.
  • Foster a cooperative, productive, team-oriented environment.
  • Verify job order documentation and purchased parts for accuracy.
  • Perform visual and manual quality tests using functional and hand test equipment.
  • Perform assembly operations using automated and, hand and/or power tools.
  • Continually learn and apply new skills.
  • Train others as needed and perform any and all other duties as assigned.
