About The Position

We are seeking a talented and motivated PCB Designer to join our New Product Development team focused on the design and development of ruggedized electronics. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in the design and release of new printed circuit boards. Employment is subject to the ability to obtain a U.S. export license.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s of Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology preferred

Nice To Haves

• Preferred 5+ years of PCB design, although less experience will be considered if the right fit.
• Strong experience with tools such as Altium, Cadence Allegro, KiCad
• Experience with High Speed Digital Designs.
• Solid understanding of Controlled Impedance Routing, Stack-Up Design, and EMI/EMC routing technique.
• Experience with Multi-Layer Boards.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout multi-layer PCBs (typically 6-12+ layers) for embedded systems
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to translate schematics into robust layouts
• Optimize designs for signal integrity, power integrity, EMI/EMC, and manufacturability
• Handle high-speed interfaces (e.g., DDR, USB, Ethernet, LVDS, MIPI, etc.)
• Work through DFM/DFA reviews with manufacturing stakeholders
• Prepare fabrication and assembly documentation (fab drawings, stackups, notes)
• Interface with PCB manufacturers to resolve Technical Questions (TQ’s)
• Contribute to design standards and continuous improvement
