About The Position

BAE Systems is seeking to hire a PCB Design Engineering Section Manager for their NH Business Center in Hudson, NH. This role involves leading a department of approximately 15 PCB Designers and Librarians across multiple sites (Fort Wayne, Indiana; Austin, TX; and NH). The manager will oversee adherence to IPC Specifications for Printed Circuit Products. Key responsibilities include leading teams and projects, estimating manpower needs, allocating work to meet program completion dates, managing schedules, generating responsible estimates, tracking and trending metrics, and implementing Hardware (HW). The position requires a technical understanding of PCB Electrical/mechanical design for electronic equipment used in military applications. Demonstrated experience in product development and successful launch is highly desired. The individual must possess excellent communication skills, be able to mentor designers, and interface with engineering and program management. Documentation, design metrics, and evaluation of the design process are key responsibilities. The Manager will be responsible for continuous improvement activities, cycle time reduction, and plans to increase first-pass design success. They will also be responsible for meeting challenging PCB design requirements using Cadence Allegro on-time and on-budget.

Requirements

  • BS Degree in Engineering
  • Broad military Electronics Packaging design experience
  • Organizational leadership experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication experience
  • Strong PCB Design Engineering background
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Experience and complete understanding of all phases in PCB Layout, Fabrication and Assembly
