About The Position

BAE Systems is seeking to hire a PCB Design Engineering Section Manager for their NH Business Center in Hudson, NH. This role involves leading a department of approximately 15 PCB Designers and Librarians across multiple sites (Fort Wayne, Indiana; Austin, TX; and NH). The manager will oversee adherence to IPC Specifications for Printed Circuit Products. Key responsibilities include leading teams and projects, estimating manpower needs, allocating work to meet program completion dates, managing schedules, generating estimates, tracking metrics, and implementing Hardware. A technical understanding of PCB Electrical/Mechanical design for military applications is required. Demonstrated experience in product development and successful launch is highly desired. The position requires excellent communication skills for mentoring designers and interfacing with engineering and program management. The manager will be responsible for documentation, design metrics, evaluating the design process, continuous improvement activities, cycle time reduction, and increasing first-pass design success. The role involves meeting challenging PCB design requirements using Cadence Allegro on-time and on-budget.

Requirements

BS Degree in Engineering
Broad military Electronics Packaging design experience
Organizational leadership experience
Excellent written and verbal communication experience
Strong PCB Design Engineering background
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Experience and complete understanding of all phases in PCB Layout, Fabrication and Assembly

Responsibilities
