About The Position

The Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing products, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues. This role involves the assembly and soldering of Printed Circuit Boards, reading design drawings, electronic component identification, and understanding quality standards. The position requires the ability to use a microscope for extended periods, follow standard procedures, and identify solder defects. The Assembler will assemble components for all Product Lines, select the correct tools and fixtures, test assembled products, and troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with assembly and testing. Additionally, the role requires the ability to read blueprints, identify components, use pertinent hand tools and rework techniques, operate equipment, and understand dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies. The position also involves creating labor records for all transactions and using the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience
  • High School Diploma/ GED

Nice To Haves

  • IPC-610 certification preferred
