PCA to CNA Sponsorship Program - 1st, 2nd or 3rd Shift Full time
About The Position
This program offers a sponsorship valued at $750 for individuals to become Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). Upon successful completion of the program and passing the state test, there are guaranteed full-time opportunities available. The role involves performing care for residents throughout the Care Center. The ideal candidate should enjoy working with residents, possess the desire to advance their skill set, and be able to interact tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public. Patience, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm are also important qualities for this role. This is a Drug Free Workplace and an E.O.E./Veterans/Disabled and other protected category employer.
Requirements
- State Tested Nursing Assistant or a Test Ready Nursing Assistant (Test Ready will need to complete and pass state test within 120 days of hire)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, and honor Resident’s Rights
- Must be able to communicate effectively with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public
- Must have excellent attendance and work history
Nice To Haves
- First aid and CPR certification
