About The Position

We are looking for dependable, compassionate, and initiative-taking individuals with caring hearts and the ability to adapt to client personality styles. Friendly, outgoing personalities with strong communication skills and a strong work ethic are essential. A valid driver's license and insurance are required. This role involves performing non-medical home care activities as outlined in the Client's Individual Service Plan, including housekeeping, meal preparation, providing companionship, and ensuring safety supervision. The primary work location is the client's place of residence, though occasional work in facilities may occur. Shift times and days will vary based on client needs. The main goal is to improve the quality of life for those served.

  • Must have the ability to arrive to work on time & maintain regular GOOD attendance.

  • MUST wear clean scrubs, ID badge, and closed toe shoes while with a client.

Responsibilities

  • Performs non-medical, home care, and assistance activities as outlined in the Client's Individual Service Plan.
  • Examples include, but not limited to: vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, laundry, and cleaning bathrooms.
  • Prepares meals and snacks for Client according to client/family and supervisor's instructions.
  • Stand-by assistance and safety supervision.
  • Provides companionship for Client including accompanying on walks, trips to social/recreational activities, assistance with hobbies, assistance with errands, etc.
  • Responsible for accurate written documentation of services provided.
  • Primarily works in Client's place of residence, sometimes in facilities.
