About The Position

Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring caring, reliable caregivers to provide one-on-one home care throughout Berkshire County and surrounding communities. The role supports clients in living safely and independently at home. Flexible scheduling allows caregivers to build shifts around their availability. Applicants with caregiving experience are welcome, and eligible applicants who are new to caregiving can receive free PCA and HHA training and certification. Pay is $19–$20 per hour based on experience and assignment location.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

• Commitment to safe, quality care.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience as a PCA, HHA, or CNA is welcomed but not required.
• Free PCA and HHA training and certification are available for eligible applicants.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and other personal-care routines.
• Prepare meals and encourage clients to participate when appropriate.
• Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional reassurance.
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and general home tidying.
• Run errands and shop for groceries.
• Give medication reminders.
• Notice and report changes in a client's well-being.
• Respond calmly and responsibly if an emergency occurs.
