About The Position
A well-established PCA agency is seeking a PCA/Direct Support Worker to assist individuals with disabilities with activities of daily living in a home environment. The schedule is Sunday through Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have some experience as a PCA or Direct Support Provider.
- Must have good work ethics and be able to follow instructions.
- Must have a current driver's license and a good driving record.
- Must provide two forms of identification: photo ID and Social Security card or birth certificate.
- Must pass the required MN DHS criminal background study, including fingerprinting and a photo.
- Must successfully complete the online CFSSPCA Training and the Vulnerable Mandated Reporter Training required by MN DHS.
- Must be fluent in English, including speaking, understanding, reading, and writing.
Responsibilities
- Assist with dressing and grooming.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
- Assist with mobility and transfers.
- Assist with meal preparation.
