Requirements

  • Current PCA or CNA certification in Virginia.
  • Previous experience in personal care or healthcare settings preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor.
  • Must pass background checks and drug screening.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic first aid and CPR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life.
  • Monitor and document client health status and report any changes to the nursing staff.
  • Administer medications and follow care plans as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Help with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety and comfort.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide high-quality care and support.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Provide personal care service and help with daily activities such as light housekeeping, meal preparation and errands.
