Responsibilities
- Providing companionship, encouragement, and emotional support
- Assisting with planned activities and encouraging client participation
- Preparing and serving meals and snacks
- Assisting with light housekeeping and maintaining a clean, safe environment
- Providing medication reminders as directed
- Assisting with daily living activities
- Helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, walking, toileting, and feeding
- Observing and reporting changes in a client’s condition, behavior, or needs
- Promoting client safety, comfort, dignity, and independence
- Supporting clients during arrival, departure, and daily transitions
