About The Position

Asbury Ivy Gables is a senior living community of energetic people who truly care about one another. This role assists residents with activities of daily living and accurately and safely prepares and administers medications. The schedule is overnight, from 7pm-7:30am, with every other weekend and holiday required. The hourly rate is $17.00 for PCA and $17.50 for CMT.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required

Nice To Haves

• 1 year healthcare experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with activities of daily living
• Accurately and safely prepares and administers oral, ophthalmic, optic, nasal, rectal, and topical medications prescribed by the physician.
• Verifies the identity of the resident before administering medication or treatment; checks the medication three times before administering for correct resident, drug, and dosage, form, route, and accurate time and frequency (e.g. 1 hour after meals)
• Ensures that all medications administered are properly labeled.
