About The Position

Join L&T Technology Services LTD as a PC&IS Engineer and play a pivotal role in the design and delivery of advanced power, control, and instrumentation solutions for industrial plants. Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering (BE/B.Tech/BS/MS).
Demonstrated experience in industrial plant instrumentation and control design.
Proficient in PLC and SCADA system integration for industrial networks.
Expertise in LV electrical distribution, power panels, and MCCs for process plants.
Strong knowledge of NEC standards and control panel design (UL508A).
Capable of developing and interpreting detailed engineering documents (datasheets, IO lists, diagrams).
Proficient project management and vendor coordination abilities.
Excellent communication skills, with confidence representing engineering information in meetings.
Experience in panel engineering and field instrumentation installation.

Nice To Haves

Prior system commissioning and validation experience.
Familiarity with FMCG plant codes and standards.
Understanding of 3D modeling for cable trays, panel layouts, and instrument locations.
NFPA70E training and qualification.

Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive engineering design packages for power and instrumentation installations in industrial settings.
Define project scope in partnership with customers; collect and validate all necessary inputs.
Liaise with offshore teams, vendors, and construction partners to gather technical information and drive project timelines.
Represent the engineering function in design reviews, securing required approvals and ensuring compliance.
Support construction and startup activities, leading electrical startup for process and packing equipment.
Prepare detailed instrument datasheets, wiring diagrams, IO lists, and associated engineering documentation.
Ensure all designs comply with NEC, UL508A, and NFPA70E standards.
Prepare and interpret control panel designs, loop drawings, system architecture, and cable tray layouts.
Manage vendor relationships and coordinate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
