About The Position

Vacation Village at Weston Resort is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented PBX Operator to join their resort team. This role serves as the communication hub of the property, handling guest calls efficiently, supporting internal operations, and delivering a seamless guest experience. The position is located at 16461 Racquet Club Rd, Weston, FL 33326, with a pay rate of $16/hr.

Requirements

• 1+ year of hospitality or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication skills with a professional phone presence
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple calls and priorities efficiently
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn phone and property systems
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
• High School diploma or GED required
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

• Resort or timeshare experience a plus
• Bilingual skills are a plus

Responsibilities

• Answer and direct incoming calls in a timely, professional, and friendly manner
• Assist guests with questions about resort amenities, services, and facilities
• Route calls accurately to guest rooms or appropriate departments
• Respond to guest requests quickly and ensure follow-through
• Set up and manage guest wake-up calls
• Monitor emergency calls and notify appropriate teams immediately
• Support engineering dispatch and coordinate service requests
• Distribute incoming faxes to the appropriate departments
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or suspicious activity
• Maintain a positive, cheerful, and professional tone in all interactions
• Deliver outstanding customer care with every guest interaction
• Support overall resort operations and complete additional duties as assigned
