About The Position

Now Hiring: PBX Operator | Join Our Resort Team at The Grandview Resort! Are you friendly, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional guest service? Do you enjoy being the voice that connects people and keeps operations running smoothly? If so, we�d love to meet you! We�re currently seeking a PBX Operator to join our resort team. In this role, you�ll serve as the communication hub of the property�ensuring all guest calls are handled efficiently while supporting internal operations and delivering a seamless guest experience.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of hospitality or customer service experience preferred (resort or timeshare experience a plus)
  • Strong communication skills with a professional phone presence
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple calls and priorities efficiently
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn phone and property systems
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct incoming calls in a timely, professional, and friendly manner
  • Assist guests with questions about resort amenities, services, and facilities
  • Route calls accurately to guest rooms or appropriate departments
  • Respond to guest requests quickly and ensure follow-through
  • Set up and manage guest wake-up calls
  • Monitor emergency calls and notify appropriate teams immediately
  • Support engineering dispatch and coordinate service requests
  • Distribute incoming faxes to the appropriate departments
  • Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or suspicious activity
  • Maintain a positive, cheerful, and professional tone in all interactions
  • Deliver outstanding customer care with every guest interaction
  • Support overall resort operations and complete additional duties as assigned
