Operates telephone switchboard and receive incoming calls. Uses overhead paging, two-way radios, and other communications equipment to relay messages and transfer information. Acts as an information source for callers and drop-by visitors. Announces and relays information concerning fire alarms, disasters, code blue, and other emergencies. Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred. No specific diploma/degree required but must have acquired knowledge/skills to use correct grammar and spelling.
- Computer experience preferred.
- Previous switchboard experience and clerical experience desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills required.
- Must be able to travel between campuses.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred.
