About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong Payroll Support Analyst to join our Payroll team. This is an entry-level role ideal for someone with 1–2 years of experience in SAP SuccessFactors and/or Staff Schedule Care who is interested in developing their career within payroll, systems, and data analysis. This role will not be responsible for processing payroll, but will play a critical part in supporting payroll operations through system testing, data validation, reporting, and issue resolution. The position is well-suited for someone who enjoys working with data, troubleshooting system issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives—similar to a junior business analyst within a payroll environment.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience working with SAP SuccessFactors (preferred)
  • Experience supporting system testing, data validation, or reporting functions
  • Exposure to payroll or HRIS environments is an asset
  • Post-secondary education in Business, HR, Finance, or a related field is preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with large data sets and identifying inconsistencies
  • Technical aptitude with systems, testing, and data validation processes
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain data clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Organized and able to manage multiple priorities, especially during payroll cycles
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within a payroll and systems-focused environment

Responsibilities

  • Support testing of system updates, enhancements, and fixes within SAP SuccessFactors
  • Execute test cases, document results, and identify discrepancies or system issues
  • Partner with Payroll, HR, and external vendors to validate system functionality
  • Extract, analyze, and validate payroll and HR data to ensure accuracy and integrity
  • Prepare reports that translate raw data into meaningful insights for stakeholders
  • Support business decision-making through clear and accurate data presentation
  • Assist in identifying and resolving payroll-related discrepancies during payroll cycles
  • Support investigation and correction of system or data-related payroll errors
  • Collaborate with Payroll team members to ensure timely issue resolution during critical periods
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting, and system processes
  • Support documentation of workflows, testing protocols, and system changes
  • Contribute to ongoing payroll system optimization initiatives
