Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree
  • One to three years of accounting work experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
  • Strong math skills
  • Strong ten key skills
  • Ability to execute tasks with a great amount of detail

Responsibilities

  • Processing paychecks
  • Reporting and remitting employee deductions and withholding taxes
  • Maintaining collectively bargained wage and benefit rates
  • Responding to unemployment claims
  • Processing expense reports and reimbursements
  • Performing data analysis
  • Reporting to state and federal agencies
  • Generating periodic collective bargaining reporting
  • Working effectively in a team environment
  • Identifying areas for improvement
  • Providing top-notch customer service
