About The Position

DNV is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our GSS HR payroll team, playing an important role in ensuring payroll processes run smoothly and accurately across North America. Your keen attention to detail will be essential as you review payroll records, spot inconsistencies, and confirm all transactions are completed correctly and on schedule. By verifying information carefully, you’ll help prevent mistakes and keep our payroll operations reliable. Your expertise in analysis and payroll will support compliance and help us continually improve how we manage payroll. Requirements

5+ years payroll experience
Experience managing payroll for 600+ employees
Working knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations, tax requirements, and compliance
Proficiency with HRIS, payroll, and other enterprise-level systems
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Strong Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Formulas)
Resourceful, adaptable and collaborative team player
Excellent customer service skills
Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Nice To Haves

BA/BS in Accounting/Finance
Knowledge of ADP WFN and Oracle products
Canadian payroll experience
Experience with multi-entity payroll

Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end payroll process for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Conduct regular audits of payroll data to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management and other stakeholders.
Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll regulations and best practices.
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll data.
Assist in the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures.
Analyze payroll data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Ensure the confidentiality and security of all payroll-related information.
