About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist with strong ADP, multi-state payroll, garnishment, and payroll tax expertise to support a high-volume, full-cycle payroll operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who thrives in a detail-oriented environment and enjoys owning the payroll process from start to finish.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of payroll experience
  • Hands-on experience processing full-cycle bi-weekly payroll
  • Strong experience with ADP
  • Multi-state payroll processing experience
  • Experience managing garnishments and employee tax withholdings
  • Knowledge of payroll tax compliance and reporting
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
  • Experience supporting payroll audits, compliance, and reporting activities
  • Knowledge of payroll best practices and process improvements

Responsibilities

  • Process and administer full-cycle, multi-state bi-weekly payroll
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries
  • Manage payroll changes including: New hires, Terminations, Employee status changes, Compensation updates
  • Process complex payroll transactions including: Garnishments, Tax withholdings, Bonuses, Commissions, Incentives, Reimbursements
  • Ensure accurate payroll tax reporting and compliance
  • Reconcile payroll records, tax filings, and general ledger accounts
  • Prepare and distribute annual W-2s
  • Support quarterly and year-end payroll reporting requirements
  • Review payroll registers and audit payroll data for accuracy
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Respond to employee and management payroll-related questions
