Requirements

  • 2 - 4 years of experience in payroll processing, payroll administration, or a related field required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Processes payroll transactions, including wage calculations, deductions, and adjustments, in accordance with established schedules.
  • Verifies timekeeping records and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Responds to questions regarding pay, deductions, and related matters, providing clear and timely information.
  • Maintains up-to-date payroll records and documentation in accordance with data privacy and retention requirements.
  • Reviews payroll reports for accuracy, identifying and resolving discrepancies before final submission.
  • Applies knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
  • Assists in internal and external audits by preparing required payroll documentation and responding to information requests.
