About The Position

McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for a Payroll Specialist for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients. Responsibilities include: processing payroll, distributing payment to employees, remitting taxes and other withholdings on a timely basis and helping employees understand payroll calculations and deductions. Assists with preparing annual W-2 and 1095-C forms and quarterly payroll tax reports. Education Associates degree in accounting or related field Days: Monday - Friday Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Experience Two years of payroll experience including one year payroll experience in a healthcare organization preferred. Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
