About The Position

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing and reporting payroll and completing other related payroll tasks. AnswerNet operates more than 20 contact centers within the continental United States and Canada. We provide a vast range of services to optimize telephone answering services, appointment setting and confirmation, customer support, third-party verification, sales, lead qualification, market research, and a host of other contact management solutions. In all, AnswerNet has more than 10,000 satisfied clients and we process over 125 million interactions per year.

Requirements

• Experience and advanced knowledge of Paycom and UKG are preferred.
• 3-5 years experience processing multisite and multistate payroll.
• Must be a team player.
• Must be able to perform all of the aforementioned job functions.
• High school graduate or GED required.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Canadian Payroll a plus but not necessary
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process benefits deductions, Wage Garnishments, 401K deductions, & Union Dues
• Use UKG to process payroll in a multisite and multistate environment.
• Rate Changes & Calculate Retro Pay
• Answer emails and phone call regarding payroll related questions
• Terminate employees in UKG and being compliant with State laws
• Completes payroll reports as needed.
• On-board employees using UKG
• PTO and Accrual tracking using UKG
• Work on other projects as assigned by the Payroll Manager
