About The Position

This administrative function, reporting to the Human Resources Manager, will work to ensure that various human resources functions are properly executed to help ensure the engagement of all employees. They will provide administrative support to the Human Resources Director and the entire facility.

Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalency required
  • 3-5 years of experience in positions of increasing responsibility within Human Resources
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • 2-5 years’ experience with Kronos software
  • Ability to multi-task along with maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Efficient in Microsoft Excel

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Previous experience in a food production facility is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintains and distributes, as appropriate, current employee information, policy and procedure manuals, and other communications.
  • Becomes trained in SAP and Kronos and completes all workforce transactions in SAP and Kronos to ensure that employees are paid properly and that labor costs within the facility are tracked properly.
  • Administration and tracking of all employees' daily attendance to include disciplinary action, vacations, and leaves of absence.
  • Compiles data from personnel records and prepares reports.
  • Maintains and verifies payroll entries and changes with computer printout; checks for accuracy and reports any discrepancies to higher level personnel.
  • Data entry of attendance; maintains and verifies attendance/hours entries and changes with computer printout; checks for accuracy and reports any discrepancies to higher-level personnel.
  • Maintains attendance warnings and verifies accuracy.
  • Provides information to managers on payroll and time and attendance matters.
  • Data entry of labor transfers and verifies changes with computer printout; checks for accuracy and reports any discrepancies to higher-level personnel.
  • Reconciles weekly deductions to reports.
  • Reviews and validates timesheets and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
  • Verifies and inputs back-pay adjustments, deductions, reimbursements, and off cycles.
  • Updates employee files to document personnel actions and to provide information for payroll and other uses.
  • Runs weekly/biweekly payroll.
  • Manages all human resource and employee records confidentially and adheres to all company standards as outlined in the JBS HR Audit.
  • Become certified in first aid and CPR to render aid to employees if necessary.

  • Base salary range of $40,000 - $59,000
