About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Part-Time Payroll Processor to join our team. This fully remote position is ideal for an experienced payroll professional who is comfortable managing payroll processes in a multi-state environment and has hands-on experience with ADP RUN. The Payroll Processor will be responsible for accurately processing payroll, maintaining payroll records, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and providing exceptional support to employees and management regarding payroll-related matters.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of payroll processing experience
  • Strong understanding of payroll laws, tax withholdings, and wage and hour compliance
  • Familiarity with garnishments, deductions, and benefit-related payroll transactions
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ADP RUN a plus
  • Experience processing multi-state payroll preferred
  • Experience supporting small to mid-sized businesses
  • Knowledge of HR-related processes and employee record management

Responsibilities

  • Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule using ADP RUN
  • Review and validate payroll data, including hours worked, bonuses, commissions, deductions, and garnishments
  • Corrections and updates to payroll data via ADP Time & Attendance prior to payroll run
  • Maintain payroll records and employee information within ADP RUN
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and tax regulations
  • Process new hire, termination, and employee change information
  • Review payroll reports and reconcile discrepancies
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a professional and timely manner
  • Coordinate with Human Resources and management regarding payroll-related matters
  • Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and reporting
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information
  • Various HR administrative duties as assigned by Executive Committee
