About The Position

The Payroll Manager will oversee and supervise the organization’s payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field, along with three to five years of related experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the payroll function, including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes. Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, supervisory, and leadership skills are essential. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and payroll software is also required. The position reports to the Controller or Chief Financial Officer and supervises payroll staff.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field required.
Three to five years of related experience required.
Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control and payroll taxes.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Proficient with payroll software.
Must be able to demonstrate appropriate clinical judgment and apply appropriate professional skills to a patient population of all ages.

Must be able to work schedules assigned with the understanding that changes may be instituted according to the needs of the hospital for off days, shifts or weekends.
