Unitex is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Manager for its corporate headquarters located in Elmsford, NY. The role involves processing weekly payroll for over 2,100 salaried and hourly employees across multiple plants in four states, primarily using electronic information. The Payroll Manager will be responsible for creating, modifying, and running various payroll reports for accounting, finance, and auditors using Excel, ADP Workforce Now, and Paycom to ensure accuracy and provide relevant management information. Key duties also include ensuring accurate and timely accounting, recordkeeping, and management of payroll-related audits and reconciliations, processing garnishments, terminations, tax notices, and benefit changes, and calculating and processing payments to benefit providers. The manager will respond to inquiries from management, plants, and employees, provide guidance on payroll processes, and communicate information to company management through scheduled reports. This position also oversees a payroll administrator and includes other assigned payroll and finance department duties.
