About The Position

Mercedes Benz of Melbourne is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll/HR Clerk to join our team in Melbourne, FL. This role is vital in ensuring accurate payroll processing and supporting various human resources functions to maintain smooth operations within the company.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in payroll and/or human resources preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of payroll through Reynolds and Reynolds preferred.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
  • Assist with recruitment processes, including on boarding new hires.
  • Handle employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and HR policies.
  • Prepare reports related to payroll and HR activities as needed.
  • Support benefits administration and track attendance and leave records.
