The Payroll Director will lead the organization’s Payroll Department to deliver payroll for both the United States and Canada. You'll ensure compliance and consistent application of federal, state, and local laws. The position will also lead strategic project management for company acquisitions and technology integrations as it relates to payroll. In addition, you'll collaborate with Human Resources and Business Leaders to resolve pay (and related) issues impacting our employees. Are you passionate about this work? Provide strategic leadership and direction for the payroll function, with a focus on longâterm planning, scalability, and process improvement. Lead project management and endâtoâend ownership of payrollârelated initiatives, including company acquisitions and technology integrations. Oversee payroll compliance activities, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations. Ensure accurate and timely completion of all payroll operations, including audits, internal controls, reconciliations, and required reporting. Establish and maintain strong partnerships with Human Resources and crossâfunctional stakeholders to align payroll processes with broader organizational goals. Manage, mentor, and develop payroll team members, fostering accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance.
