This position is responsible for serving as a subject matter expert on the Small Business Efficiency Act (SBEA) related items such as IRS Form 8973, prior wages, successorship, wage restart, self-employed owners, annual tax reporting, etc. The role involves the precise, timely entry of prior wage data resulting in accurate payroll taxes and invoicing, and ensuring owners are set up correctly for proper taxation. Additionally, the specialist uses reliable and appropriate resources to facilitate the timely processing of a variety of compliance items, including federal, state, and local minimum wage and premium overtime pay data. The position operates in a collaborative team environment, including Payroll Compliance, Field Payroll Operations, Client Onboarding, and service/sales teams across all market segments, and involves education and training functions.
