About The Position

We have an amazing opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Payroll Assistant to join our fast paced, fun, vibrant office located in Warrington town centre. Our location comes with great transport links to bus and train stations. Due to the growth in our business and increased workloads we are looking to strengthen our team with an organised & detail driven Payroll Assistant to work along side the existing team in the day to day running of the department. As a Payroll Assistant you will be organised, proactive and professional. This is an opportunity to join a business where no two days are the same. You'll play a key role in supporting our payroll and finance functions, helping to ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes while working alongside a supportive and experienced team. As Payroll Assistant you will report directly into the Payroll & Purchase Ledger Manager whilst having the support from the whole Finance Team. Requirements

Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
Confident using Microsoft Excel and other computer systems
Experienced in a payroll role (minimum 1-2 years’ experience preferred)
Able to manage their workload effectively and meet deadlines
A strong communicator with a professional and friendly approach
A team player who enjoys supporting others
Proactive, reliable and solutions-focused

Responsibilities

Processing weekly payroll accurately
Processing and checking new starter information
Resolving payroll queries efficiently and proactively
Maintaining accurate employee and financial records to ensure compliance
Processing timesheets in line with company procedures
Building positive relationships with colleagues, suppliers and stakeholders
Supporting the Finance Team with additional projects and ad-hoc duties as required
