About The Position

To assist in processing a timely and accurate payroll for employees at Tennessee Tech University. Tennessee Tech is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.

Requirements

High school diploma with at least five years of related professional experience or a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with at least three years of related professional experience.
Mathematical, analytical, organizational and communication skills.
Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Nice To Haves

Experience with processing payroll.

Responsibilities

To assist in monitoring and processing earnings to include supplemental earnings and costing data.
To assist with processing employee deductions as needed.
To assist in running payroll payment processes and tax remittances, recording necessary journal entries.
To assist with payroll reconciliations as needed.
To assist with communication and explanations of pay with employees, managers, and staff.
