About The Position

HR Works is currently recruiting for a Payroll & HRAS Administrator based out of our Fairport, NY location. This role manages client relationships and delivers end-to-end payroll and HR administration services. This role serves as the primary client contact and ensures accurate payroll processing, compliance, and high-quality service across benefits, leave, and HR systems.

Requirements

  • 2+ years payroll processing experience
  • Strong knowledge of benefits and/or leave administration
  • Experience with ADP (Paylocity/Paychex a plus)
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years related HR experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll accurately and on time for multiple clients
  • Serve as the main point of contact, handling inquiries and resolving issues
  • Manage client processes, documentation, and ongoing service delivery
  • Support benefits, leave administration (FMLA, ADA, disability), and open enrollment
  • Conduct audits, ensure compliance, and reconcile carrier invoices
  • Collaborate with internal teams and provide process improvements
