About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Payroll & Accounting Coordinator to support our day-to-day financial operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, is highly organized, and has hands-on experience in payroll processing and basic accounting functions.

Requirements

  • 1–3+ years of payroll and/or accounting experience
  • Familiarity with payroll systems (e.g., Paycom, ADP, QuickBooks, Gusto, or similar)
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with certified payroll reporting (e.g., Davis-Bacon or prevailing wage projects)
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Experience with small business or multi-state payroll
  • Knowledge of tax compliance and reporting
  • Bilingual skills strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Process weekly payroll accurately and on time
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Manage employee time tracking, deductions, and benefits coordination
  • Assist with accounts receivable as needed
  • Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees
