About The Position

Fisher Investments is seeking a Payroll Analyst to join their growing team, supporting payroll operations in the US and Canada. This role involves detailed payroll processing in a deadline-driven environment, supporting end-to-end US payroll processes and assisting with monthly Canada payroll under the direction of the Payroll Manager. The analyst will utilize reports for audits and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy, serve as a key resource for multi-state payroll tax compliance, and collaborate with Finance and Human Capital business partners. The position also involves identifying enhancement opportunities and recommending process improvements for efficiency and quality.

Requirements

• 4+ years of payroll experience
• Extensive knowledge of payroll tax requirements across multiple states, including reciprocity rules and local tax jurisdictions
• UKG Payroll software and Workday experience
• Proficiency in MS Excel

Nice To Haves

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Support the administration and compliance of the semi-monthly payroll for multi-state operations and monthly Canadian Payroll
• Maintain employee records, including voluntary and involuntary deductions
• Audit, analyze and identify inconsistencies between HR and Payroll systems
• Prepare payroll and ad hoc reports
• Identify opportunities and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and ensure quality
• Establish and maintain written procedures documenting compliance and processes
• Provide excellent customer service
