As a Payroll Analyst, you’ll contribute to accurate, compliant, and people‑first payroll operations in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. This role blends hands‑on payroll support, employee and stakeholder interaction, and problem‑solving, making it a strong fit for candidates with varying levels of payroll experience. With a focus on accuracy, collaboration, and continuous improvement, you’ll support payroll processing, audits, and employee inquiries while partnering closely with an experienced payroll team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 0-2 years of professional payroll experience
  • Payroll, HR operations, or HRIS experience (entry-level through experienced candidates encouraged to apply)
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with large amounts of data
  • People-first mindset with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
  • Open-minded approach to problem solving, with the ability to think creatively when addressing challenges

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Workday Payroll or Workday HCM
  • Experience supporting payroll inquiries or case management
  • Exposure to payroll audits, controls, or compliance activities

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day payroll operations
  • On-cycle and off-cycle payroll activities, including gathering, validating, and reviewing input data
  • Processing and reviewing payroll transactions for accuracy
  • Researching payroll discrepancies and partnering with team members to support timely resolution
  • Respond to employee and stakeholder payroll questions and cases with professionalism, accuracy, and care
  • Identify and escalate complex or sensitive issues appropriately while maintaining a people-first experience
  • Perform payroll tasks, reviews, and audits within Workday Payroll
  • Support payroll audits by reviewing reports, identifying variances, and assisting with follow-ups
  • Apply federal, state, and company payroll policies and controls in daily work
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives focused on accuracy, standardization, and efficiency
  • Share observations and ideas that help improve payroll operations and the employee experience
