About The Position

Fisher Investments is seeking a Payroll Analyst to join a growing team supporting payroll operations in the US and Canada. This role involves supporting detailed payroll processes in a deadline-driven environment. As a Payroll Analyst, you will support end-to-end US payroll processes and assist with monthly Canada payroll processing under the direction of the Payroll Manager. You will utilize reports to complete audits and perform reconciliations to validate data accuracy. Additionally, you will serve as a key resource for multi-state payroll tax compliance, work closely with Finance and Human Capital business partners, and identify opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and ensure quality.

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of payroll experience
• Extensive knowledge of payroll tax requirements across multiple states, including reciprocity rules and local tax jurisdictions
• UKG Payroll software and Workday experience
• Proficiency in MS Excel

Responsibilities

• Support the administration and compliance of the semi-monthly payroll for multi-state operations and monthly Canadian Payroll
• Maintain employee records, including voluntary and involuntary deductions
• Audit, analyze and identify inconsistencies between HR and Payroll systems
• Prepare payroll and ad hoc reports
• Identify opportunities and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and ensure quality
• Establish and maintain written procedures documenting compliance and processes
• Provide excellent customer service
