About The Position

As the Payroll Processing Analyst, you will oversee and supervise the organization's payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations. Pay Range: $60,000 - $70,000 per year Location: Twinsburg, OH (Hybrid - 3 days in-office)

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field required.
  • Three to five years of related experience required.
  • Previous experience using ADP or a similar HRIS.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficient with payroll software.

Responsibilities

  • Enters, maintains, and/or processes information in the payroll system; information may include employee’s hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave & holidays, deductions & withholding, garnishments, address changes, & other info.
  • Ensures proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, charitable contributions, and other deductions.
  • Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
  • Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
  • Issues, or reissues, direct deposits due to payroll errors or final discharge.
  • Registers, audits, and complies with federal and state taxes.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
  • Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
  • Ensures proper facilitation, inputting, and recording of all HR related data into relevant systems.
  • Provides full-service administrative support on various HR projects, including talent acquisition, onboarding, benefit administration, etc.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
