About The Position

This position is responsible for performing a variety of complex tasks related to the processing of payroll and the administration of employee benefits. The Payroll Analyst will ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, maintain payroll records, and assist with employee benefit programs. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of payroll and benefits regulations.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing and employee benefits administration.
Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS systems.
Strong understanding of payroll and benefits laws and regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
Experience with [Specific Payroll Software, if known].
Experience with [Specific HRIS System, if known].
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC).

Responsibilities

Process payroll accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Maintain payroll records, including employee data, hours worked, and deductions.
Administer employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.
Reconcile payroll and benefit accounts.
Assist with the preparation of payroll and benefits reports.
Stay up-to-date on changes in payroll and benefits laws and regulations.
Collaborate with HR and Finance departments on payroll and benefits-related matters.
