Mexico Payments - Monterrey Corporate Sales - Executive Director
About The Position
J.P. Morgan's Corporate & Investment Bank is seeking a high-performing Payments Sales Manager based in Monterrey to drive business development and client engagement across the strategically important North Mexico region. This role will be responsible for originating, developing, and expanding relationships with large Mexican and Multinational corporates headquartered in Monterrey and other key Northern Mexico markets. The successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of Treasury Services, Cash Management, Foreign Exchange, and Trade & Working Capital solutions, coupled with an established network of senior treasury, finance, and business decision-makers across the region. The Payments Sales Manager will partner closely with Corporate Bankers, Product Specialists, and international coverage teams to deliver integrated treasury solutions that help clients optimize liquidity, improve operational efficiency, support international expansion, and accelerate working capital performance. The ideal candidate is a proven relationship builder with strong local market knowledge, a successful sales track record, and the ability to identify and execute complex treasury opportunities.
Requirements
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Treasury Services, Cash Management, Transaction Banking, Corporate Banking, Trade Finance, or Working Capital solutions.
- Strong knowledge of the Monterrey and North Mexico corporate landscape, including major regional economic sectors such as industrials, manufacturing, automotive, consumer, retail, logistics, and business services.
- Demonstrated track record of originating and closing treasury-related business opportunities with large corporations.
- Established network of treasury and finance decision-makers across Monterrey and North Mexico.
- Deep understanding of treasury operations, liquidity structures, payment flows, receivables, and working capital solutions.
- Strong client-facing and consultative sales skills.
- Ability to lead complex, multi-product solution discussions with senior client stakeholders.
- Excellent partnership and teamwork skills across banking, product, implementation, and service organizations.
- Strong communication and presentation skills in both Spanish and English.
- Ability to travel throughout North Mexico as required.
Responsibilities
- Drive Treasury Services revenue growth across Monterrey and North Mexico through proactive client acquisition and relationship expansion.
- Originate new business opportunities with large domestic and multinational corporations headquartered in the region.
- Develop strategic account plans in partnership with Corporate Banking coverage teams.
- Deliver the full Treasury Services product suite, including: Cash Management, Payments and Collections, Liquidity Management, Account Solutions, Digital Channels & Connectivity, Trade & Working Capital Solutions, Cross-Border Treasury Solutions, FX-related Treasury Solutions.
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with Treasurers, CFOs, Controllers, Finance Directors, and Shared Service leaders.
- Act as the primary Treasury Services advisor for clients operating across regional and international markets.
- Identify industry-specific challenges and develop tailored treasury solutions that support clients' strategic objectives.
- Lead solution discussions, RFP responses, deal structuring, and complex sales processes.
- Partner with Product, Implementations, Client Service, Operations, and Technology teams to ensure successful client onboarding and execution.
- Represent J.P. Morgan within the Monterrey business community and maintain a strong market presence across North Mexico.
