About The Position

This position is responsible for managing and developing new and existing Payments, Merchant, and Commercial Card business with focus in technology and gaming sectors (land-based and online). These are high-growth focus sectors, and the role will feature exciting solutions such as on embedded payments, FBO (For Benefit Of) account structures, virtual accounts, and ecommerce solutions. This role requires proven enterprise sales experience and the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles across multiple buying centers—including Payments Partnerships, CFO, the Treasurer, and Cash Manager—to align solutions with each stakeholder's priorities and drive deals to close. The individual will quarterback across Merchant Services, Commercial Cards, and Treasury Services, orchestrating the right internal partners and product specialists to deliver integrated, end-to-end solutions to clients. This person provides consultative advice on current cash flow practices in order to develop treasury management business. Manages relationships with existing customers to ensure proper servicing of accounts and to expand existing business. Prepares sales presentations, explains services offered, and recommends solutions which would benefit clients. Identifies opportunities to sell other U.S. Bancorp products and services to meet customer needs. Assists management in developing a market strategy and in setting sales objectives. Responsible for meeting or exceeding all assigned sales and revenue retention goals. Assists in the design and oversees the proper installation of treasury management services. Assists management in the development of new services or the modification of existing services. This role is expected to be based in the San Francisco office or neighboring client center location in Walnut Creek and San Jose ; follow the bank's in-office work model to support collaboration with local partners, clients, and team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • 10 or more years of related experience
  • Demonstrated enterprise sales experience managing complex, consultative sales cycles with multiple decision-makers and buying centers
  • Ability to navigate complex sales engagements across multiple buying centers, including Payments Partnerships, CFO, Treasurer, and Cash Manager
  • Ability to quarterback across Merchant Services, Commercial Cards, and Treasury Services to deliver integrated client solutions
  • Strong sales and new business development skills
  • Excellent customer service/relations skills
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
  • This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
