Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze customer account reports.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work accurately within deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in stressful or time-sensitive situations.
  • Ability to work constructively with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong written communication skills for clear and accurate report preparation.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior credit or payment processing experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with the tire industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately post daily customer payments, including checks, ACH, wire transfers, and credit card transactions.
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies, including short payments, unapplied credits, and unidentified funds.
  • Communicate with customers to clarify payment details, resolve account questions, and provide invoice or balance information.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records of payment activity for audits and reporting.
  • Process account adjustments such as write-offs, credit memos, and balance corrections in alignment with company policies.
  • Collaborate with the Credit team to support account reviews, credit holds, and dispute resolutions.
  • Assist with administrative functions including filing, mail distribution, and occasional front desk coverage.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, credit policies, and financial procedures.
