About The Position

Responsible for developing, formalizing, and documenting operational processes while implementing controls to ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements. Serves as the primary point of contact for all credit card–related matters, delivering operational support to business units. Oversees and manages the outsourced service provider, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs), performance standards, and applicable regulatory expectations. This role involves supporting the management of the relationship with the outsourcing company, overseeing processes, SLAs, and KPIs for outsourced credit card operations functions. It ensures these functions maintain adequate control, meet audit results, and adhere to internal policies. The role also leads new projects and changes related to these functions to support the organization. Additionally, it involves managing third-party vendor relationships and ensuring compliance with regulations such as Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Regulation Z, BSA, USA Patriot Act, OFAC, and other AML-related issues.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Develop, formalize, and document operational processes related to the credit card program, including workflows, controls, and escalation paths.
  • Implement and monitor controls to ensure compliance, risk mitigation, and operational integrity.
  • Act as the primary liaison for all credit card product-related matters, including internal teams, audit requests, external vendors, and customer-facing units.
  • Provide operational support to business units, including training, troubleshooting, and performance insights.
  • Process all Credit Card operational functions to ensure deadlines are met and items are processed accurately and in compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Oversee all Credit Card functions and processes to ensure proper recording, policy compliance, bank protection, and adherence to risk management guidelines.
  • Stay informed about regulations impacting credit card operations and inform management to effect changes to policies and procedures.
  • Monitor departmental efficiency, streamline processes, and reduce costs.
  • Monitor Operational Risk Exposures and Losses for all areas within scope.
  • Generate reports on card usage, delinquency rates, and transaction volumes; support decision-making with data insights.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies; participate in audits and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with product managers, marketing, call center, and fraud teams to align operational goals.
  • Ensure preventive measures are carried out to comply with current rules, regulations, and internal policies relating to risks pertaining to Truth in Lending Act (TILA) and Regulation Z.
