About The Position

GeoControl Systems, Inc. as a HUBZone company, is required to maintain a Federally mandated level of employees that reside (home residence) in a qualified HUBZone. ONLY applicants whose home address lies in a qualified HUBZone will be considered for this position. The candidate may be responsible for assisting the Payload Integration Manager (PIM) with schedules and data input and propagation for various payload facilities and types, utilizing NASA resources per the equivalent traffic model as defined on the NASA baselined Integrated Payload List (IPL). The PDI will work closely with the PIM throughout the integration process to provide reliable and timely data entry support to all Payload Developers. This includes attending Kick-Offs and PIM Tag-ups. The PDI will be responsible for the propagation, management, and validation of data into other ISS Program databases. Provide support via the PIM to Payloads Office boards and panels, ISS boards and panels, and working groups.

Requirements

Must have a bachelor’s degree or technical training performing Payload Integration, preferably for the International Space Station.
Demonstrate excellent oral and written communications skills.
Good leadership and teamwork characteristics.
Must be a US Citizen.
Must meet eligibility requirements to receive and maintain a Boeing badge and NASA Badge.

Responsibilities

Assist the Payload Integration Manager (PIM) including schedules and data input and propagation for payload rack facilities, EXPRESS sub-rack payloads, attached payloads, Aisle Deployed, EXPRESS Logistics Carrier (ELC) payloads, Japanese Experiment Module (JEM) and Columbus Exposed Facilities (EF) payloads, and IP payloads utilizing NASA resources per the equivalent traffic model as defined on the NASA baselined Integrated Payload List (IPL).
Work closely with the PIM throughout the integration process to provide reliable and timely data entry support to all Payload Developers.
Attend Kick-Offs and PIM Tag-ups.
Responsible for the propagation, management, and validation of data into other ISS Program databases.
Provide support via the PIM to Payloads Office boards and panels, ISS boards and panels, and working groups.
